TRS11 System Requirements
	Minimum	Recommended	Notes
Processor	Pentium or Compatible	Pentium 4 or above
RAM	512 MB	1 GB or more
Hard Drive	See Notes	40 GB or more	TRS installation requires 100 MB, plus the size of database, which varies by store.
CD Drive	CD-ROM	CD-ROM or better	CDRW and/or DVD is OK, but not needed by TRS.
Video Card	1024x768 resolution or higher	1024x768 resolution
Monitor	Any capable of displaying above	15" or larger, capable of displaying above.	Touchscreen monitors are supported.
USB Ports	5	6 or more	5 is the bare minimum for The Works package, but leaves none left over for a USB mouse, report printer, etc.
Serial Ports	See Notes	See Notes	Only required if you have older serial-connected peripherals.
Network Card/Port	10BaseT	10/100 or Gigabit	Required if networking multiple stations in your store. Wireless Networking of your POS stations is NOT recommended.
Internet Connection	See Notes	High Speed/Broadband (Cable, DSL, etc.) STRONGLY recommended.	TRS software is registered via the Internet. If you do not have an Internet connection, you will need to download your registration from another computer with Internet access. Also, we can support you by controlling your system remotely, but only if you have high speed Internet.
Operating System	XP 32-Bit, Vista (Business or Ultimate) 32-Bit or 64-Bit, Windows 7 (Professional or Ultimate) 32-Bit or 64-Bit	Windows 7 (Professional or Ultimate) 32-Bit or 64-Bit	PCCharge has different Operating System requirements (*See Below)
QuickBooks	2003 or above, Pro or Premier	2003 or above, Pro or Premier	QuickBooks is not required for TRS, but TRS has an interface to it.

* PCCharge will run under Windows 7 Professional (64 & 32-bit), Enterprise (64 & 32-bit), or Ultimate Edition (64 & 32-bit), Windows Vista Business Edition (64 & 32-bit), and Windows XP Professional Edition (32-bit)
