How to Create a List of Inactive Customers

This article describes how to create a report containing customers who have had no activity in TRS since a particular date.

Create the following Complex Search to find all customers who do not have any activity (transactions) since a certain date.

  • Click the "Complex Search" button on the Customers screen.
  • Click the "Search Assistant" button on the New Search box that displays.
  • Select Last Activity Date from the Fields displayed.
  • Select Is Less Than from the Condition list.
  • Enter the desired date in the Value field. (For example, enter 6/1/10 for customers who have not been in the store since June of 2010)
  • Click the "Add" button.
  • Click "Ok. "
  • Click "Ok" again on the New Search box.

These steps will generate a list of customers who have not had a transaction in the store since June of 2010. You can use the results of this search as you would any found set:

  • Create a mailing list.
  • Create an email list.
  • Send a bulk email (using the JMM Emailer Suite).
  • Print mailing labels.
  • Print a phone list.
  • Print a custom report.
