TRS Database Administrator Version 1.02 Update Instructions

*Note: This update is free for registered users of TRS Version 6 and 7. Do not attempt to use this program with an earlier version of TRS or SMRDBS. It will not work.
Instructions

1. Click on one of the following files to download the update. The .ZIP file is much smaller and will take less time to download, but you will need to unzip it using WinZip (http://www.winzip.com/) or another unzipping program to extract the file. The .exe file is already unzipped for you, but it will take longer to download.

2. In either case above, you should end up with the TRSDBA.EXE file on your hard disk.
3. Make sure that the Database Administrator program is not running for the rest of the steps below.
4. Copy the TRSDBA.EXE file into the directory in which you originally installed the program. If you chose the default when installing it, it should be C:\Program Files\trs6 or C:\Program Files\trs7. If you're unsure, you can find out where it is by using Windows's "Find Files or Folders" command. Simply select Start->Find->Files or Folders. Type TRSDBA.EXE into the "Named" box, and select "My Computer" or "Local Hard Drives" from the "Look In" list box, then click on "Find Now". It will then tell you the correct location.
5. When you have the new file copied in, you can start up the Database Administrator program.
6. To make sure that you are now running the correct version, look in the title bar of the program. It should show version 1.02. If not, you copied the file into the wrong place.
