This Cutting Table Solution gives you two great products in one!

You get Cutting Table functionality that lets you scan and print barcodes for product and quantity at your cutting station and the PDT scanner also doubles as an inventory check & update device for TRS.

At the cutting table, you scan each item's barcode and enter the quantity on the keypad, and it prints out a receipt with barcodes for the fabric and the quantity. This receipt can then be scanned into a POS ticket at the register.

This Cutting Table solution is available as either a wireless or hardwired solution.

With the wireless solution, the scanner will send the barcode and quantity data to the cradle wirelessly via Bluetooth (the cradle is connected to the printer via a cable), so there is no need to be limited by the length of the cable or to put the scanner in the cradle when used at the cutting table.

When using the scanner for inventory, it will used wirelessly while you take inventory. You then transfer the data to the computer by putting it in the ActiveSync cradle, which is connected to the computer via the USB cable.

With the wireless solution, you can add additional scanners to a single cradle/printer and have multiple users working your cutting station at busy times. These additional scanners can also be used for taking store inventory and updating TRS.

The hardwired solution offers a less expensive option for stores that do not require wireless communication.

The scanner will be connected directly to the printer via a 6 ½ foot cable, so this solution is not wireless when used at the cutting table. This solution does not allow multiple scanners to share a single printer.

When using the scanner for inventory, you will disconnect the scanner from the printer and use it wirelessly while you take inventory Then you transfer the data to the computer by putting it in the ActiveSync cradle, which is connected to the computer via the USB cable.
